Palasdari Dam is a water body constructed by Indian Railways for the requirement of the adjoining Karjat terminus. In the village, there's a waterfall called Palasdari waterfall. This dam is near Palasdari railway station and Palasdari town. It is a picnic spot as well as a monsoon gate away. Many farmhouses are located nearby. It is situated on the Karjat-Khopoli state highway. The waterfall is not very hard to climb for a basic trekker, but in the rainy season, the path becomes difficult to travel due to heavy waves of water.
How to reach
Palasdari Waterfall is at palasdari railway station. Palasdari railway station is next to Karjat station. You have to go by central line local train, from Mumbai csmt to Khopoli train. Or you can get the Karjat train, and from Karjat you will get Karjat-khopoli train. Palasdari railway station to the waterfall distance is only about half a kilometer or less. It takes 7-8 minutes distance by walking. And 4-5 minutes small trek from the main road.
