Nandgaon Beach is located at Palghar district in Boisar city. A less visited place by people and mostly by locals. Beach is good lined with trees and white sand. It provides good view of Tarapur Plant at distance. Not much resorts to stay but one can find good home cooked food or stalls near the main beach entrance. Beach is short and one can walk along the beach. During low tides water recedes as far as 250m from shore. The beach bed is full of sand crabs and rocky patches at certain points. Beach is easily accessible from Boisar town.
The north end of the beach is Navapur beach separated by a creek through which effluents also flow from the industrial town polluting the waters of Nandgaon and making it look red in color.
